This Month at MasterMinds:
We Have a New Name; Now, How Do We Reboot?
The Kansas City Center for Inclusion (formerly LIKEME Lighthouse-KC) is Kansas City's only LGBTQIA community center, now in its fifth year. After carefully choosing a new name, logo, and marketing strategy, they need to refocus their efforts on what the local community wants and needs. They also need to stay relevant to the clients who need their services, while encouraging better community support. Faced with the challenge of "the new normal," their entirely-local, volunteer-led organization needs the Mid-America GLCC MasterMinds to help them present the Center to a new Kansas City audience while re-framing the conversation away from "the way things used to be." Many of the rules have changed, so the Kansas City Center for Inclusion must react.
Join us at the July MasterMinds session on Tuesday, July 25th, 7:30 am to 9:00 am. MasterMinds will be held at Bishop-McCann, located at 1701 Walnut, Kansas City, MO.
We hope to see you at MasterMinds on July 25th!
