Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is an annual day that memorializes the lives of individuals murdered due to transphobia and hate. This event draws attention to the horrific, systemic violence the transgender community continues to face on a daily basis. This year, transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) leaders across Kansas City have come together to host a rally, march, and vigil in honor of TDoR. It is crucial that Kansas City stand up against transphobia and unite as a community. Let's come together in solidarity to support our transgender neighbors, honor the lives needlessly lost due to hatred and bigotry, and demand equal trans rights.
Please share this event with other allies and TGNC folx and make your voice heard!
