Oversees clinical operations for the Valve and Vascular Clinic. Accountable for the development, implementation and evaluation of the care provided consistent with the established strategic plan goal and objectives for the Patient Centered Care. Works in collaboration with leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes. Supports optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking and skills based on principles of psychological, social,, physical, and biological sciences that utilize the nursing processes.Directing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of the patient care unit including all clinical personnel-related aspects of the unit. Maintains all clinical competencies if required due to size and structure of the unit and may occasionally be counted in staffing. Exhibiting clinical leadership, independent judgment, and decision-making skills.
