Kansas City, Missouri // Wednesday, August 21, 2019 // www.maglcc.org – The Mid-America Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Chamber of Commerce today announced it will unveil new creative branding during its monthly Business to Business (B2B) Network on September 12th, 2019 at 5:30pm. The September B2B is co-hosted with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kansas City at its headquarters at 1709 Walnut St, Kansas City, MO 64108.
The Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce recently changed its name from the Mid-America Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce to more accurately reflect the diversity of its membership and project a more inclusive image to the community. As part of the more inclusive name, the organization worked closely with Hallmark as a Founding Corporate Partner, and its Creative Marketing Studio to develop a new brand.
“The new branding better reflects the organizations values,” says Danny Zaslavsky, Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce Board President, “we are here to create a business environment which embraces all individuals for their talents, skills and knowledge - while affirming and ensuring members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities are actively represented in the business community.
The chamber’s marketing committee led the rebrand project with Hallmark and its Creative Marketing Studio as the driving force of the creative vision. “We had a goal to keep the brand as fresh and unique as the members we represent,” says Zaslavsky, “and Hallmark helped us create a mark which uniquely represents the Chamber’s mission and vision.”
Registration for the September B2B is free for members and $20 for non-members and prospective members. The new branding will be unveiled during the program portion of the event and will include a short video produced by Mitch Weber or Toto Productions, branded visual assets designed and donated by Hallmark, and free swag showing off the new brand.
