Jesus said, “The first commandment is, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
— Mark 12:28–31
As the Cathedral church of the Diocese of West Missouri we are uniquely situated on the border of two states, Missouri and Kansas. We are a multi-generational parish with members coming to the Cathedral from 10 counties across the Kansas City metropolitan area. As the Episcopal Cathedral in the heart of the city, our mission is to be a servant church. We seek and serve Christ in all people, loving our neighbors as ourselves, and working for justice, peace and respect for every human being.
