You?re invited! Join us for the second of two NGLCC & Southern California Edison Business Education S.T.A.R. Workshops offering Strategies Towards Achieving Results. Taking place on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 5pm ET, this course will assist small business owners with the development of a sufficient business plan for which they may have a clear picture of operational needs and business model to secure funding. This will be achieved by illustrating the value of business planning, defining the key components of a business plan and application of the knowledge obtained through actual plan development.
Attendees will learn key components included in a sufficient business plan. Participants will also learn how to prepare and document an operational roadmap to develop a business plan.

The Metropolitan Community College Foundation invites you to join us on January 13, 2023, for MCC's Annual Chancellor's Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Luncheon at the Loews Kansas City Hotel. This year?s event will feature keynote speaker Ms. Donna Brazile who has devoted her life to working for progressive change, responsible governance, and the advancement of ALL people in a society that is fair and equitable. She will lead us in a conversation on social justice FOR ALL during the 2023 luncheon. Also at the event, five MCC students will be awarded the prestigious Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship, a one-year full tuition scholarship at MCC. We will also honor the third recipient of the MCC Alvin Brooks Kansas Citian Inspiration Award, to Ms. Karen Daniel for her excellent work and dedication to community betterment across the region.
